It’s a cult staple around the world, but the French are particularly good at it. If your date is shy, there’s not much chance they still will be by the end of the movie, once they’ve been soaked with water, thrown rice at, gotten up from their seats to dance the Time Warp, and sung “Sweet Transvestite” along with all the other audience members and actors on stage (who mimick and complement the film on the screen). At any rate, a good way to test your date’s sense of humor… It shows at 10 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday nights at the Studio Galande (metro St. Michel), but the better cast works on Saturday.
