Charming, Hidden Tearoom

A new addition to the charming la Butte aux Cailles neighborhood is a cozy little tearoom, L'Oisive Thé. The name is a play on words: oisiveté means "idleness," which also means that this is the place to pass the afternoon away. Come for brunch as well and enjoy a range of egg dishes, salads, and fresh savory dishes. The desserts are home-made, so prolong your stay and enjoy something sweet: try especially the melting chocolate cake (gateau au chocolat fondant).
