Visit the Oldest Bakery in Paris

Just north of the Tuileries Gardens, Au Grand Richelieu bakery has been serving baguettes since before Waterloo. Stop in for the traditional bread, or treat yourself to a pastry. There is plenty to choose from: not only croissants, but also a delicious "opera" cake and specialties from the owner's native region of Normandy.

For just 5€, you can take a behind-the-scenes visit of the bakery through Meet the Parisians at Work
