You may long for a fish taco from a stand in Baja California or a giant burrito from your favorite L.A. Mexican joint. Living in Paris, it's difficult to find the "real thing" - and by "real" I mean something remotely "spicy." But there is hope! Ay Caramba is a Mexican restaurant that is far above the rest and as authentic as it gets.
The walls are painted with cheery colorful murals and live traditional music plays on Friday and Saturday nights. Try traditional favorites like enchiladas and burritos, or venture out to taste the cactus taco. Plenty of dishes to share make this a perfect spot for a date, but the restaurant can also accommodate groups of up to 30 people.
Reservations are recommended for weekend nights. Closed Sunday and Monday evenings.
