For a great sushi meal at a reasonable price, Allo Sushi in the Marais is my favorite spot. The delicious miso soup is close to the real thing (so often the "miso" soup in Paris is just chicken broth). Best of all, the spicy tuna is actually spicy.
Sushi dinner for two, including soup or salad, is 40 euros. Asahi beer is 5 euros for a 50cl can that two can to share. In nice weather, eat outside in the tiny but lovely square in front of the restaurant. A hidden gem of a restaurant.
