Opened as the city's first workers' cooperative in 1877, La Bellevilloise is still a center for creative expression in a festive atmosphere. Reestablished in 2005 with a fresh new face-lift, this 3-story, multi-purpose venue with lots of loft space, a club, and a café has film screenings and holds concerts and artsy performances of jazz, acoustic, and world music most every night of the week.
The adjacent café has a lovely terrace with lush greenery and wooden chairs & tables.
