The most famous ice cream in Paris is without a doubt Bertillon. The most popular place to get it is at the Bertillon ice cream stand on rue Du Bellay on the Ile Saint Louis, just across the bridge from Notre Dame cathedral.
You can't miss the long line of people waiting to try this tasty treat, but we happen to know that you can get the same Bertillon ice cream at three other locations, just down the street: one on the rue de l'île Saint Louis and two others on the rue des 2 ponts. Just look for the Bertillon signs (they're everywhere) and you'll be a few minutes closer to sharing the best ice cream this side of the Alps.
