La Goutte d'or (or "the golden drop") is a neighborhood that spans parts of the 18th and 10th arrondissements, just on the other side of Montmartre.

From June to September, a myriad of music festivities take place in the churches, libraries, cafés, gardens, and streets of la Goutte d'or: From Hip Hop to Haitian Song to African and Middle-Eastern beats, it's a multicultural feast for the ears that celebrates the rich global contributions to the city's vibrant cultural life.

Check the website for a jam-packed guide to the activities and specific locations. Many are centered around the metro stops Chateau Rouge, Barbès-Rochechouard, and Stalingrad.
