If you like music festivals but aren’t a big fan of camping in a field for several days, Paris has got the perfect solution. Every year, late August, Rock En Seine takes place in the Parc de St. Cloud (accessible by metro) for two days, featuring top-notch lineups – in the past few years, performers have included Radiohead, the Pixies, PJ Harvey, the White Stripes, the Chemical Brothers, Robert Plant, Sonic Youth, the Cold War Kids… Makes a memorable date without the pressure of the whole traveling-and-camping thing most good festivals entail.
