Wedding-watching

So this may not be exactly first date material, but if your date has a sense of humor and like people-watching, it can be very entertaining to sit outside one of Paris’ many town halls (one per “arrondissement”) and watch the just-married couples and their exuberant friends and family come in and out, often in rapid succession. For best results, go Sundays around noon. The "mairie" (town hall) of the 15eme is perfect, as it features a large plaza with plenty of steps and benches as well as a couple cafés with a good view of the going-ons.
